Privacy Policy
Last updated: 2 September 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how personal data is processed when you use B2Bio Fireplace, send a B2B enquiry or, where you choose to allow it, use the website with Google Analytics 4 enabled.
1. Data controller
Homeartarredo di Alberto Trancanella
Contrada Cerreto 295 — 66010 Miglianico, CH — Italy
Email: info@b2biofireplace.com
2. Data we collect
When you send a B2B enquiry, the form may collect company name, contact person, business email address, optional telephone number, country, website, sales channel, area of interest, expected volume, target timing and the content of your message. The website also processes limited technical information necessary for hosting, security, anti-abuse controls and server operation.
If you choose Accept analytics, Google Analytics 4 may process information about pages viewed, interactions and events, device/browser characteristics, approximate geographic information and analytics identifiers used to distinguish visits. Google states that IP addresses are used for certain processing such as location derivation and are not logged or stored in Google Analytics.
3. Why we process the data
- to answer catalogue, dealership, private-label, technical and commercial enquiries;
- to prepare quotations, product information or pre-contractual documentation requested by you;
- to protect the website and forms against abuse, spam and security incidents;
- where analytics consent is given, to understand aggregate website usage, improve B2B content and measure actions such as successfully submitted enquiry forms;
- to comply with legal obligations and, where necessary, establish, exercise or defend legal claims.
4. Legal bases
B2B enquiry data is processed where necessary to take pre-contractual steps at your request and, where appropriate, to perform a resulting contract. Where the person contacting us acts on behalf of a company or organisation, certain B2B communications and security processing may also rely on the controller's legitimate interests in managing professional relationships, protecting the website and responding to business requests. Data may additionally be processed where necessary to comply with a legal obligation.
Google Analytics 4 is activated only after your consent. Analytics is therefore based on consent, which you can refuse or withdraw at any time without affecting access to the website.
5. Required and optional fields
Fields marked as required are necessary to understand and answer the enquiry. If you do not provide the required information, we may be unable to process the request. Telephone, website, expected volume and timing may be optional unless they are needed for the specific enquiry.
6. Recipients and service providers
Personal data may be processed by providers needed to operate the website and communications. These can include the IONOS infrastructure used for hosting/email, website-security services such as Wordfence/Defiant Inc., technical support providers and, only after analytics consent, Google Ireland Limited for Google Analytics 4. Data may also be disclosed where required by law or to professional advisers where necessary.
7. Google Analytics 4
Google Analytics 4 is used only after the visitor has positively chosen to allow analytics. The site does not add Google Tag Manager or Meta Pixel as part of this configuration. Advertising personalisation signals and Google Signals are disabled by the B2Bio integration. GA4 may be used to measure page usage and non-advertising conversion events such as a successfully submitted B2B enquiry.
The target retention period for GA4 event/user-level data is 14 months. The corresponding setting must also be maintained in the Google Analytics property. Aggregated reports may remain available for longer in accordance with Google Analytics functionality.
8. Retention of B2B enquiries
Standalone enquiries that do not develop into a commercial relationship are normally deleted or anonymised within approximately 12 months after the last meaningful contact. If an enquiry leads to a quotation, order, contract, accounting record or legal matter, relevant information may be kept for the longer period required by applicable commercial, tax, accounting or legal rules and for the protection of legal rights.
9. Enquiry-form storage
The B2Bio enquiry system sends the submitted request to the configured business mailbox rather than creating a public customer account or automatic marketing database. Standard hosting, security and email-system logs may still be generated as part of normal technical operation.
10. Marketing
Sending a B2B enquiry does not automatically subscribe you to promotional marketing. If marketing communications are introduced, any consent or other lawful basis required for that separate activity will be handled independently.
11. International transfers
Some technology providers may process information outside the European Economic Area. Where this occurs, the controller relies on the transfer mechanisms and safeguards made available under the GDPR, such as adequacy decisions and/or Standard Contractual Clauses, as applicable. Google Analytics and Wordfence may involve processing by group companies or subprocessors outside the EEA.
12. Automated decisions and profiling
The website does not use the B2B enquiry form to make decisions producing legal or similarly significant effects by solely automated means. Google Analytics is configured for audience measurement rather than advertising personalisation.
13. Your rights
Subject to the conditions of the GDPR, you may request access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability where applicable, or object to certain processing. Where processing is based on consent, you may withdraw that consent at any time without affecting processing already carried out lawfully. You may also lodge a complaint with the competent supervisory authority, including the Italian Garante per la protezione dei dati personali.
14. Analytics consent choices
You can refuse analytics when the consent panel is shown. If you later change your mind, use the Cookie settings control in the website footer to review your choice.
15. Contact
Privacy requests can be sent to info@b2biofireplace.com.
