Cookie Policy
Last updated: 2 September 2026
This page explains the cookies and similar technologies used on B2Bio Fireplace.
1. Strictly necessary technologies
The website uses technical identifiers where necessary for WordPress administration, site security, session integrity, anti-abuse controls, enquiry-form protection and functionality explicitly requested by the user. Security tools such as Wordfence may use first-party cookies or comparable identifiers to protect the website. These technologies are not used for advertising and do not require analytics/marketing consent when they are strictly necessary.
2. Analytics preference
The website may store a first-party preference named b2bio_analytics_consent after you make a choice. Its purpose is to remember whether optional Google Analytics is accepted or rejected so that the consent panel does not need to be shown on every page. This preference is treated as necessary to remember your privacy choice and is normally kept for up to 12 months.
3. Google Analytics 4
B2Bio Fireplace is configured to use Google Analytics 4 only after the visitor chooses Accept analytics. Before that choice, the B2Bio integration does not load the Google Analytics tag and does not send analytics data to Google.
After consent, Google Analytics may set identifiers such as _ga and _ga_<container-id> to distinguish visits and produce audience statistics. Their duration can be up to approximately two years depending on Google configuration, browser restrictions and subsequent consent choices. The provider is Google Ireland Limited, with possible processing by Google group companies and service providers outside the EEA under applicable transfer safeguards.
4. Purpose of Google Analytics
Analytics is used to understand how professional visitors use the website, which B2B pages and articles are useful, and whether actions such as a successfully submitted enquiry occur. The B2Bio implementation disables advertising-personalisation signals and Google Signals and does not install Meta Pixel or Google Tag Manager.
5. Your choice
You can reject optional analytics and continue using the website normally. You can also withdraw a previous analytics choice at any time using the Cookie settings control in the footer. Withdrawing analytics consent prevents the B2Bio integration from loading Google Analytics on subsequent page views; you can also delete existing cookies through your browser settings.
6. Browser controls
You can review, block or delete cookies through your browser settings. Blocking strictly necessary cookies may affect website administration, security-related functionality or the ability to remember privacy choices.
7. Future changes
If advertising pixels, additional analytics systems, embedded media, chat services or other non-essential tracking technologies are added in the future, this policy and the consent mechanism must be reviewed before those tools are activated.
